It was a Friday afternoon. A customer called about a surgical device kit that needed to be in an operating room first thing Monday morning for a scheduled patient procedure. The shipping cutoff had already passed. Our courier had come and gone.
So our customer picked up the phone and called us. The order was packed, labeled, inspected, and driven to the courier drop-off in one of our team member’s cars. The surgical device kit shipped Friday night. It was in the surgeon’s hands for the procedure Monday morning.
