As A&M BioMedical’s Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialist, Lisa oversees inspection at every stage a component moves through the facility — incoming receiving, in-process, and final inspection following sterilization. Every lot that enters or leaves production passes across her bench, which makes her one of the last checks between a customer’s specification and the device that ships.
Her background is rooted in the sciences. A biotechnology major by training, Lisa began her career in a stem-cell research laboratory working in a Class 5 cleanroom, where precision and contamination control were part of the daily discipline. That environment shaped the standard she brings to A&M’s inspection process today.
Her work centers on documentation and measurement: matching each shipment against the customer’s drawings and specifications, determining the correct sampling plan for the lot, and verifying dimensions and workmanship before product is released. Where an inspection standard can be read two ways, her practice is to take the more conservative reading — a discipline that keeps A&M’s quality decisions consistent and defensible under customer and regulatory review.
Lisa is currently pursuing the American Society for Quality’s Certified Quality Engineer credential, deepening her expertise in risk assessment, root-cause analysis, and process improvement — skills she applies directly to strengthening A&M BioMedical’s quality system.
